Today millions of Americans are in less pain, are more mobile and have improved health because of treatment received by a Doctor of Chiropractic. As good as it is, Chiropractic care evolves and improves based on continuous advances in science and technology. At Chait Chiropractic Center we offer the Chiropractic BioPhysics technique.
Chiropractic BioPhysics (CBP) is a chiropractic technique developed and studied, starting in the 1970s, by Donald D. Harrison, PhD, DC. In December 1980 the CBP Technique was originally named by Drs. Donald Harrison, Deanne Harrison, and Daniel Murphy for “physics applied to biology in chiropractic”. Since that time more than 130 clinical trials and scientific research studies investigating different aspects of CBP have been published.
CBP Technique is not just another trend or fad—In fact in 2015 there were 9 internationally accredited chiropractic colleges. With 14 post-graduate courses, CBP Technique offers chiropractors more than 190 hours of continued training, covering the latest strategies to treat spine disorders and improve patient health and well being.
CBP uses a mixture of Exercises, Adjustments and Traction intended to affect a measurable change in a person’s posture and radiographic measurements. These changes are thought to improve the biomechanics of the spine; thus reducing symptoms, improving function, and preventing degeneration. As a result, it is safe to say that CBP Chiropractors use tested and proven techniques for remodeling your spine from top to bottom.
