Southwest Florida has experienced Ian-related flood and wind damage. Fortunately, Sarasota, was blessed with avoiding a direct hit. Dr. and Mrs Chait as well as the staff at Chait Chiropractic Center hope you and your family are doing well after experiencing Hurricane Ian’s stong winds. Now it is time to help our neighbors in need.
For those who have expressed interest in donating supplies for local families and individuals in need in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian, we will be collecting items at our office at 4221 Bee Ridge Rd in Sarasota.

What items are needed?
Everything. There are varying levels & types of need in our community right now and a wide variety of care items would be helpful:
- Basic toiletries like shampoo, toothpaste, hair brushes and toothbrushes, body wash & soap
- Clothing items like shirts, skirts, pants, hoodies/jackets, socks, and shoes
- Blankets, sheets, sleeping bags & pillows
- Nonperishable food items such as peanut butter, canned vegetables, canned soup, & cereal
- Bottled water, juice boxes
- Comfort items like stuffed animals, books, and games
